1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Hifz ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. The service

Hifz provides Quran memorization tools, Quran text with translations, prayer times, azan reminders, and a Qibla compass. The app is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Content

The Quranic text is in the public domain. Translations and recitation audio are included for personal use within the app and remain the property of their respective rights holders. You may not extract, redistribute, or resell any content from the app.

4. Accuracy

Prayer times and Qibla direction are calculated from your location using standard methods and are provided as a convenience — please verify times with your local mosque where it matters. Recitation feedback is an aid to memorization, not a substitute for a qualified teacher.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer the app, misuse its content, or use it in any unlawful way.

6. Disclaimer & liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from its use.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted at this URL constitutes acceptance.
